I would love to introduce you to a beautiful new picture book arriving this month, When Things are Hard, Remember (Beaming Books). This sweet story uses the metaphor of a child needing to move, and the uncertainty surrounding an unknown journey, to look at what it’s like to have faith that you’ll still be taken care of even when things are hard.
It’s written by Joanna Rowland, my tender-hearted friend, and the author of the award-winning picture book, The Memory Box: A Book about Grief. The wonderful illustrations are by Argentinian artist, Marcela Calderón.
If you know of a young child who could use a dose of hope today, this one may be just the book they need.
Here’s to finding new books to love!
